THE GARAGE PRO
LIFETIME WEAR
WARRANTY.

Every Garage Pro floor coating is backed by a lifetime wear warranty — a promise against the coating wearing through or delaminating under normal residential use. It exists because of how the floor is built: we diamond shot-blast the slab for a true mechanical bond and start with a moisture-vapor-barrier epoxy. That is the difference between a floor you stand behind and a $500 box-store kit that peels in a few years. Brian confirms the exact written terms at your estimate — we never paper over the details.

• What's actually covered

A WARRANTY ON THE
THINGS THAT FAIL.

A real warranty covers the ways a garage floor actually goes bad — not a vague "satisfaction guarantee" with no teeth. Here is what the Garage Pro lifetime wear warranty stands behind.

  1. 01

    Wear-through under normal use

The core of the promise: your floor is backed against the coating wearing through to the concrete under normal residential use. Daily driving, foot traffic, rolling toolboxes and dropped gear are exactly what the system is engineered to shrug off.

  2. 02

    Delamination from proper prep

Peeling and lifting almost always trace back to a bond that never formed. Because we shot-blast for a true mechanical key and seal the slab first, we stand behind the coating staying bonded — that is the failure a lesser job leaves you to eat.

  3. 03

A finish that stays a finish

A garage floor coating should keep looking like one. The polyaspartic top coat is built to hold up to hot tires, UV through an open door and Idaho road chemistry — not chalk, yellow and flake off a season later.

• Why we can promise this

THE PREP IS WHAT
MAKES IT POSSIBLE.

You cannot warranty a floor you did not prepare correctly. A lifetime wear warranty is only honest when the foundation under it is real.

We diamond shot-blast the entire slab — firing steel shot to strip laitance, old paint and sealer and open the concrete pores so the epoxy bonds into the slab, not on top of it. Then we start with a 100%-solids moisture-vapor-barrier epoxy that seals the moisture rising through every Idaho slab, the exact pressure that pushes a cheap coating off from underneath. Prep is roughly 70% of whether a floor lasts — and it is the reason we can put our name on the coating for the long haul.

• The honest comparison

A WARRANTY VS. A RECEIPT.

A box-store kit gives you a product and a receipt. A Garage Pro floor gives you an installed system and a company that stands behind it. That gap is the whole point.

WHAT WE ASK OF YOU.

A warranty is a two-way street. None of this is heavy lifting — it is mostly just letting the floor be a floor and letting us prep the slab the right way.

Let us prep the slab

Do not pressure-wash or hose out the garage in the days before your install. Trapped moisture in the slab works against a fresh coating — we handle moisture testing and cleaning as part of the job, the right way.

Normal residential use

The warranty is written around a home garage doing home-garage things. Parking, storage, hobbies and daily traffic are all fair game. It is not a promise against abuse — think dragging steel, chemical spills left to sit, or a slab someone jackhammers later.

Basic upkeep

A coated floor is low-maintenance by design: sweep it, and mop with plain water or a mild cleaner. No harsh solvents, no aggressive de-icer piled on it, no metal-bladed scrapers. That is the whole list.

• Answer-first FAQ

WARRANTY QUESTIONS.

What does the Garage Pro lifetime wear warranty cover?

It backs the coating against wearing through to the concrete under normal residential use, and against delamination — the peeling and lifting that comes from a coating that never bonded properly. It reflects the confidence that comes from correct prep and our full moisture-barrier-epoxy, flake and polyaspartic system. Brian confirms the exact written terms at your estimate.

How is a lifetime warranty even possible on a floor coating?

It comes down to prep, which is roughly 70% of whether a coating lasts. We diamond shot-blast the slab so the coating bonds mechanically into the concrete, and we start with a moisture-vapor-barrier epoxy that stops slab moisture from pushing the coating off from underneath. Those two steps are exactly what a $500 box-store kit skips — and exactly why we can stand behind the floor.

Does a $500 DIY epoxy kit come with anything like this?

No. A box-store DIY kit is a one-and-done product sale with no meaningful warranty and no one to call when it peels — which it typically does in 3 to 5 years because it is acid-etched instead of shot-blasted and has no moisture barrier. A Garage Pro warranty is a relationship with a local, licensed contractor who installed the floor and stands behind it.

What could void the warranty?

The warranty is written around normal residential use, so damage from abuse or neglect is not covered — for example gouging the floor by dragging heavy steel, leaving harsh chemical spills to sit, aggressive metal scrapers, or later structural work on the slab itself. Everyday garage life is exactly what it is built for.

Is this the same company as Garage Pro of Idaho?

Yes. Garage Pro is the rebrand of Garage Pro of Idaho — same owner, same local crew, same standards. A warranty is only as good as the people behind it, and the people behind yours have not changed. See our Garage Pro of Idaho page for the story.
