It’s the same locally owned Twin Falls crew, the same owner (Brian, a licensed general contractor), and the same lifetime wear warranty. The only thing that grew is the promise: we’re now the complete garage company — floors, cabinets, lighting and full renovation under one roof.

No sale, no franchise, no new owner. Garage Pro of Idaho became Garage Pro because the old name only described part of what we do. Here’s exactly what stayed the same — and the one thing that got bigger.

Brian — a licensed general contractor based in the Magic Valley — still owns and runs the company, still walks the garage himself, and still answers the phone.
The same lifetime warranty
The lifetime wear warranty on our floor coatings did not change. It is still a local promise backed by the people who did the work, not a call-center ticket routed through corporate.
The same standard of prep
Roughly 70% of whether a floor lasts is the prep. We still shot-blast the slab open before anything is applied — the unglamorous step cheap installs skip.
• Why the name changed
WE OUTGREW A NAME THAT ONLY MEANT FLOORS.
When the company started, most people found us for one thing: a floor coating that actually lasts. The name Garage Pro of Idaho did its job. But over time customers kept asking the same question — “can you do the cabinets too? the lighting? the whole garage?” — and the answer kept being yes.
So the offering grew into a complete garage company, and the name grew with it. Shortening to Garage Pro says plainly what we do now: the entire garage, not just the floor. The floors are still our flagship — that line is Armor Shine Floors — but they’re one division of a bigger business, not the whole story.
It’s the same idea our sister company, Patio Pro, brings to the outdoor space: one licensed local owner, accountable for the whole result. Garage Pro handles the inside of the garage; Patio Pro handles the patio and yard.

Yes. Garage Pro is Garage Pro of Idaho — same owner, same crew, same warranty. Only the name shortened. Nothing about the ownership, the people, or the quality of the work changed.
Why did the name change from Garage Pro of Idaho to Garage Pro?
The company outgrew a name that only hinted at what it does. We started with floors, but Garage Pro now handles the complete garage — coatings, cabinets and storage, lighting and audio, and full renovation. Shortening the name to Garage Pro reflects the full umbrella company we became.
Is my lifetime warranty still honored after the rebrand?
Yes. The lifetime wear warranty on your floor coating is unchanged and still backed by the same local owner and crew who installed it. A name change does not affect any existing warranty or promise made under Garage Pro of Idaho.
Do you still serve Twin Falls and the Magic Valley?
Yes — Twin Falls, Jerome, Kimberly, Buhl, Filer, Burley, Wendell, Gooding and the Wood River Valley. We are the same locally owned Magic Valley company we have always been.
